The series ‘Picnic’ collects a visual cultural phenomenon of Taiwan's aesthetics of life. Decorated with large landscape photographs, the restaurant presents a unique and charming atmosphere. When you enter such a restaurant, you will immediately feel the breath of nature. The entire space is set up as if in a magnificent natural landscape. Their size is huge and they occupy the entire wall. The photographs are taken from the internet gallery of nature scenes, such as magnificent mountains, green forests, waterfalls or a sea of flowers. The colours are so vibrant that it's as if real nature has been brought into the dining room. The placement of photos should also be considered. In addition to functionality, photos should be placed in a location that attracts attention and generates positive energy according to Feng Shui principles. There are different meanings to the choice of pictures, most of which are themed on mountains, waterfalls, flowers and the sea. Water is a symbol of wealth, when you meet water, you will get rich; mountain is a symbol of a shop with a backing; flower is a symbol of hair. I collect this phenomenon to present the relationship between space and landscape photos, and to show the fusion of Feng Shui beliefs and visual culture of Taiwanese people.
